colour can be so inspiring, can it not? like just this tiny pop of green within all of those golden locks.
lately i’ve been going crazy for peach! i even painting my new bedroom the colour! i love this creature comforts blog dedicated to it.
or even this blog from mrs. lilien dedicated to mint.
i’m really feeling bright, bold versions of pastel colours. it’s like a very bold way of making a subtle and classy statement.
i’ve found many a brilliant things on the web and blogging circuit this past week and thought “why not do an inspiration list post.” this is to make your saturday stunning!
the first is to start off with those brilliant feathers. aren’t they beautiful? i would love to use those as a headband or a purse key chain.
deux: phoenix “alphabetical” album, which is what i’m listening too as i write this post. (click watch on youtube as usual)
quatre : black eiffel posted this a-mazing flash mob video
cinq : apparently the blogging community is going gaga for this gandhi poster by francesca ramos
six : creature comforts made me aware of these made by hank bags (which apparently sold out in 24 hours.) which i ♥♥♥. they are so bat for lashes aren’t they?
huit : glitter for breakfast had a short post on her memories with dave matthew’s crash into me.
she writes, “People spoke in low voices and this song was flowing through the speakers like syrup and I just kept thinking how lovely the moment was and how quickly it would go.” her story and description is ever so lovely and i suggest to read it for a quick inspiration.
neuf : this marie antoinette inspired photoshoot from an ohio bride, posted from classic bride.
for that magnificent marie hair, the stylist said, “In the up-do, I used different shades of hair extensions and a foam ball wrapped with hair, positioned it and started pinning it together,” really? that’s it?!?!? foam balls here i come! (though i’m sure it’s not that easy)
dix : speaking of marie, cherry blossom girl was invited to go to versailles la nuit and the photos make me tingle all over. could you imagine being there once the palace is closed and the stars are out?
can we just talk about this post found on creature comforts and her colour crush on the sorbet pinks and cement greys? plus she has quite a cute little blog going on over there…
stunning? magical? delicate? fragile? am i missing anything else?
