whilst pinning, i came across this marie-antoinette inspired shoot for vanity fair italia with model anna ilnytska. of course, i adore all things marie, but i really loved the details in this shoot, for instance the small jeweled hair pins and mixture of dyed ostrich furs with bold silks and satins. i wish i could provide better quality of these images, but even these seemed to be quite a feat for me to find. i’d say, “please enjoy” but i already know you will…

if you’ve had a look at my “currently loving” section on the sidebar this month, then you’ll see that i’m quite smitten with lingerie at the moment. my current selection is very poor, but i’m on the quest to have quite the collection within the coming years. no more victoria’s secret. i want good quality, extremely feminine, and lovely in every way lingerie.
faire frou frou, a lingerie boutique i visited in los angeles, keeps me updated on all of the latest styles and trends and inspires me daily with their knowledge and photos. they’ve introduced me to items such as these and i wanted to share.
.1 .2 .3 la fée verte has a stunning collection with fun colours and lady-like prints. their lookbook is truly inspiring.
.4 love these colours from claudette! my purchase at faire frou frou was this brand and it’s quite affordable and super sexy in a low-key way.
.5 obsessed with this lace eye mask from naked princess! it instantly reminds me of the one kirsten wears in marie antoinette or audrey wears in how to steal a million.
